Man-o-Man.... Panning the French would get me into a heap of trouble. My wife's French you know.... <chuckle> Both parents and back for generations. I received an email from Veuve Cliquot re: their Grande Dame Champagne which has always been one of my favorites. I responded and said perhaps they should market their champagne in Iraq. Lots of lovely sparkling wines in California, while not quite the equal of good French Champagne, they will more than do now and will also save me some money.
