Hi Doan,

you said a couple of things I agree with whole heartedly. The U.S. is its own worst enemy. We create our own worst enemies and Saddam is a classic example.

Also, you said that you feel bad for the Iraqi soldiers. I do too. I was just telling a friend of mine that I felt no sympathy for the Taliban and Al-Qaeda that we slaughtered in Afghanistan, because they are lunatics that need to be erased. However, the Iraqi soldier is just a poor man stuck between a rock and a hard place. They're nothing better than slaves to Saddam and live in daily fear. Then they are forced to fight the world's most fearsome military machine. Very sad.

But let's not forget the Kuwaitis. They are cheering us on right now. That isn't by accident. They know how good life can been when your protected by the U.S. The Iraqis will soon find out that the lies they were told about Americans were just that. It's inevitable that some civilians will die, but the rest will know a freedom they didn't even bother to dream about.
