Hi Mq - I agree with you that people who ingest gasoline wouldn't burn on the inside because there is no air in there, but the document you just responded to dismissively was a collection of reports given to the USIA during the occupation of Kuwait. I don't want to rehash the baby incubator argument again but the fact (well maybe you don't think it's a fact) that the Ba'athists practice torture is something widely alleged, and widely accepted. Or maybe your argument is that we only claim that our political opponents practice torture in order to damage them politically? Uncle Joe was really a nice guy, Tojo was a sweetie, and so is Saddam, and we just made up all that nasty stuff about them? If so, wouldn't it be lovely to think so?
