"You want the real reason why Bush is attacking Iraq and why 76% of Americans support it? It's fear."

And who is spreading that fear....who has more than half the population convinced that Saddam had something to with 9/11?

RE: "the reality is that the French, Russians, and China have the most investment in Iraq of any country in the world"

Prove this please.....

Post 9-11 fear gives Bush the political and moral excuse to move against Iraq, but it's still about oil and power.

You can see it now. Turkey is moving toward the northern oil-fields. That's why we were trying to buy them off, so WE could control those fields un-opposed. Now we may have to fight the Turks for the oil.

Nothing in Iraq is nearly as important as the oil. They haven't found one WMD or even a SCUD. Saddam may not even have any left. It's oil, my friend, Texas oil-men wanting Iraqi oil. Pure and simple. PLus some revenge for Poppy. Believe in anything else and you're the one being naive.

Democracy in Iraq? Human rights? What a joke. Bush doesn't want democracy in Iraq. He wants the crude. He was born in Midland, funded by oil companies all his life and Cheney's Halliburton is probably the biggest beneficiary. O-I-L. Also why Bush blew off the French form the beginning. Because they want to oil too. As does Russia. Oil-oil-oil. All this will come out clearly in the end. You'll see. Certainly you admit if not for oil we wouldn't even be there. And never would have defended Kuwait either. Bill O'Reilly and Anne Coulter admit it. Why cant you?
