Those bulldozers are not the same bulldozers you use in construction. They are huge, armored bulldozers, with tiny windows so no bullets can penetrate. He may still have seen her, but if you understand those machines, the idea that he didn't isn't necessarily absurd. I'm late for bed, so don't have time to look up stats and photos on those armored bulldozers, but put armored bulldozer Israel in Google and I bet it comes up with something.

Karen, It is so heart breaking to see the pictures of the murder of Rachel Corrie. I had been swayed by all the apologists for her killer that maybe he didn't see her, etc.... I wonder if the killer even got out of his tractor to look at his victim. Of course for him and his gang, it's just another day's work. Sarmad

Karen, After reading this I spoke with a friend and took a closer look at the situation. Based on the photo's etc there is a significant possibility he did do this on purpose (a George Wallace style - this will be the last bulldozer she ever...). However, did someone distract him? The photo's are good, but why no video? Surely there are camcorders in the Middle East? After the Rodney Dunn episode, I would expect any Peace Activist pushing the envelope to film confrontations. John ps I am a long standing supporter of Israel's right to exist, but am significantly troubled by their actions. I also support a Palestinian state, but deplore the Intafada and the PLO's methods.
