OK. But that is relevant to which discussion? Certainly not the one we're having. Of course, God is in charge, but Bush still wont' get re-elected unless this economy recovers. Mark my words.

Many conservatives will abandon Bush if he cant fix the economy. I've talked with a few so I know. It wont be easy for them but if there's a strong moderate war hero like Kerry with a moderate running mate, they will say "no mas" and switch. Especially if they're military veterans, union members or businessmen. The women will leave Bush in droves too. Health care and education are biting the big one now. And whle Clinton used to champion womens issues Bush has done nothing for them. 51% of the population.

Everyone cheers a war while it's happening. I do too. It brings tears to my eyes when I see a positive war story on the news. I really admire those fighting men and our technology. But that's not political.

The military is above politics. They're not even allowed to be political until after they leave the service. And whose leaders are military vets? The Democrats over Republicans by a 3-1 margin.
