I guess there's too much of the lawyer in me, but I just feel like the U.S. knows that it needs to take care of business, but we didn't sufficiently cover our asses. And now it's going to cost us more than anyone wants to admit. I'm not talking about money or lives lost in the Iraq war, which most of us on this thread agree needs to be fought today not tomorrow. But I am talking about the loss of goodwill and friendship with a host of countries that will weaken us on our negotiating positions on a whole range of mundane issues ranging from how we handle our day to day economic affairs, all the way to how we handle future threats such as North Korea. Yep, this is going to not only cost us, but the whole world a bunch of headaches.
