There is a BIG difference from a "talk show" that is presented as an opinion and network news that is presented as "news" but is biased. People turn on the "news" to get information on current affairs while they turn on talk radio to hear an opinion. You are correct in saying that all is changing especially with the advent of Fox. For years the networks (and CNN) had a stranglehold on the "news" and most often presented it with a liberal bias.
Cheers

As TheHammer already noted, there IS a difference between expectations for an opinion talk show and a news program.
For what it's worth, Dan Rather has more viewership than any Cable news program of any kind by far, last I heard. But, you offer your personalized anecdotal evidence. "Boo" to you, too. Did I mention Wolf Blitzers thinly veiled liberal crap? Oh, yup, guess so. Wolf actually stated yesterday that the US will have to try to convince Iraqis to allow the US to determine their future. Do you understand the problem with that statement?
