"The world is in good capable hands. George Bush and Tony Blair has a deeper understanding of the morality of leadership than any other leaders in the world today. They rose to occasion and are great leaders."

I wholeheartedly agree, but I'm anxious about how Baghdad will be handled when the ground forces arrive. What I'm seeing from Basra is not very encouraging. I am hopeful, but... anxious.

I was feeling something strange, optimism, hope and confidence...

Isn't it interesting that having such positive emotions feels "strange"?

This shows how far the wave of negativity has already advanced.

Even here on line we get the sense of the pervasiveness of all these "Jihads" and "Electronic Intifadas". We don't have too much confidence in our leadership, it seems: the moment they do something right we are (almost) pleasantly surprised – and feel relieved. We have spent too much time in the bubble land of political correctness.

Your mood could be short lived. Have you heard the latest about Russian weapon sales and assistance to Iraq on the news in the last few minutes? Very frightening and dangerous if true.

Trying to find a link.......nothing so far.
