Two valid experts on Saddam are not expecting him to surrender, and anyone who goes to such great lengths to stay alive would more likely try to leave the country as a final act as one expert noted Sig.

>>When I saw the article where the JAG lawyers were approving targets<< From what I've been able to determine (still haven't hit the mother lode on this issue) we've been doing this for about 25 years, and certainly did it in Yugoslavia. Now that we have precision bombs, we have to do this, so we don't get prosecuted for war crimes. BTW, according to the Pentagon briefing yesterday, which hasn't been transcribed yet, we've also been bombing WMD sites, using munitions which are appropriate for what we believe we're hitting. That was part of the first wave of bombs. I've been wondering, if we do bomb WMD sites, how can we prove later that there were WMD?
