Don't give us that double standard. Bush-Ashcroft are great for their war on terror, but Reno-Clinton are murderers for putting down right-wing militias and Timothy McVeigh types.

All terrorists are the same whether they are US-born or from Yemen. Ask the people of Oklahoma City. Extremism on the right can be potentially as dangerous as Osama Bin Lauden's crew. Sad to say but true.

The farmer in DC was not a terrorist and would never have been killed by any administration unless he was killing someone first. To say different is irresponsible and plain ridiculous. When you say something like this you shame those who serve our country, and those who died at the hands of McVeigh and others.

Let's not enact bad laws because we trust Bush and Ashcroft. Bush and Ashcroft won't always be there. What would a Janet Reno do with the Dept of Homeland Security? Make everyone who is in an offbeat religion wear an armband?

And the DHS has a goal to eventually registered every person in this country into a national dastabase ID system. I don't think that's a good step as far as my personal liberty is concerned.
