That is a bold faced lie. You must be a total idiot, if you think you are going to convince anyone, that Clinton had any soldier dragged through the streets. You must be getting your information from that stuttering ego maniac, Limbaugh.

I knew it was a mistake to mention Clinton. It's just that I can't help but point out that (for example) the remark made by Daschle the other day that Limbaugh and co. are so overwrought about pales in comparison to some of the stuff Clinton had to put up with from them. But let's move on. This is 2003, Bush has been President for over 2 years. It's getting to be time to focus on the effectiveness of Bush's policies and not keep blaming all of his problems on the prior Administration.

BTW, while "based on actual events", Blackhawk Down is also a work of fiction.

Edit: Realized that you might have meant the book, which was non-fiction, as opposed to the movie, which counts as fiction.

Clinton would have let that putrid POS Les Aspin take care of it.

If Clinton had handled things in exactly the same manner, (not that he would have, he's brighter than that) the Right would be all over him. How much of a free ride would the right have given him if he'd called N. Korea on their surreptitious nuclear efforts, only to do nothing when they aggressively expanded them? And this with a government that has shown absolutely no scruples about providing WMD to the highest bidder.

Instead, Clinton had our soldiers dragged through the streets naked when led to battle by the big brave UN...the biggest waste of my taxdollars to date.
