No news here. I have assumed that Russia, France and China have been undercutting the UN sanctions for a decade, this is the primary objection I have to the UNSC, it's self-defeating.

This news is being released to embarrass the Russians and discredit their position. This about post-war Iraq and why Russia will play a limited role.

The world is waking up. The UN is dead, something will replace it and the US will be sending out the invitations to that meeting. This doesn't look like an invitation to Russia but it might be a test - 'clean up your house' if you want to be invited.

No more Mr. Nice Guy.
