sh*t, they don't even remember Mogadishu, except that it was a really good movie starring Josh Hartnett. if only we had named the war Operation Vietnamese Libaration, maybe it would have turned out better.

that an american soldier of muslim faith was willing to give his life to defend his religious principles is a bad sign of things to come. i used to be optimistic about our chances of avoiding a fate like that of israel, but now i am not. religion can make men do crazy things. how many more muslims at home and abroad would be willing to kill in defense of their faith? how many more will be willing to do so once we take over iraq. the second iraqi liberation movement will start then.
