I think part of the problem is both Saddam and Bush have been playing to history. Unfortunately, the historians they seek see things differently.

I think Saddam acts in a belief that he's a new Age Saladin and his actions will unite Arabs into a powerful nation under God.

Bush, meanwhile, probably thinks that taking Saddam out will avenge how historians viewed his father and that he'll get credit for this. I think he's also been convinced that he can change the political map of the Middle East and will become famous for doing that. And like Saddam, Bush, too, thinks he's got God on his side.

Regarding Vince Foster? Who knows. Wanna know of another mysterious killing? Do a google search on Steve Kangas.
