Yes, Lindy was a real whacko. The 30's was full of that, with strong pro-Hitler sentiment in Milwaukee, many Musellini fans in the Italian-American community, and, of course, passionate, dedicated Stalinists in various neighborhoods in New York. The latter was the forerunner of the current treason movement that has held the Democratic party in a stranglehold since 1970...
