<< Ask whether we gave Kuwait back to the Kuwaities.?
The only possible answer is no >>>
Reword the question and ask whether we or France should have let Saddam keep Kuwait
Our form of Democracy is not going to come easy to folks that dont have to work, The Kuwaities being some of the richest people on earth because of their oil. Young folks out disco dancing (shame) until all hours in the worlds famous halls. Hiring millions of immigrants to do the work.
They have to work out their own system that provides peace, but they are going to be unwilling to pay taxes, to obey some of our US laws, to work in a factory, or do uncomfortable things to get money when they dont need any.
If Iraqs oil was divided evenly among the Iraqis, they would have similar problems which result from being too rich .
