LOL, ...that's because Clinton and Chirac shared the same bed (it's a political term, ...I think).

I guess I am so foolish when I think we need to have Americans unite behind the President.

For people like yourself and American Hag, you provide comfort to Sadam and draw the war out and if anything goes wrong it is Bushies fault.

Lizzie,
re:Thats what this whole Chirac exercise is wrt Bush, its a pissing match. Never would have happened with Clinton, never.

I'll disagree with that statement. I believe Chirac has to hide his involvement with saddam and Chirac would have stood up to Clinton also.

re:Diplomacy is all about back room negotiations and you've gotta be smooth which Bush IS NOT.

Well, we'll just agree to disagree then. I'm satisfied Bush handled France, Germany, Russia, the UN, and Turkey properly.

I have my doubts as to Clinton's security issues when dealing with our enemies.

Steve

Sorry Lizzie but Clinton would not have had the Euro's wrapped around his finger on this one. It becomes more evident by the moment that France and Russia are in bed with Iraq. Of course if Clinton were president we would not be dealing with the problem. We would still be acting as if everything is fine and dandy as they sat and watched our defense and intelligence capabilities weaken. You do remember that putrid disgrace Les Aspen don't you?
