All along I've demanded proof of why there was a need for war and got none. You didn't even provide any.

Do I lke Bush? You're right. I don't, for lots of reasons. But my reasoning with respect to this war goes well beyond him. Had Clinton or Carter conducted a military buildup of 300,000 troops and intended a preemptive invasion in one of the most complicated and controversial regions of the world, and without UN support, you bet, I'd be in the streets protesting, and this thread very much would exist.
