You're the only one that's fooling yourself. Let's hope that one of your relatives doesn't get blown up by a terrorist because you'll change your tune real quick.

<< Iraq will not get a democracy. Dont fool yourself. >>

One can hope. It is very important that Iraq becomes a peaceful democracy. After all, what is the alternative?

I think that America has learned a lot working towards freedom and democracy in Afghanistan, and we have made great advancements there. It may take another generation of Afghanis, before they get true, wide-spread democracy, but it is worth working towards.

There will be calls for revenge, after years of torture and mass murder of the Shiite and Kurds, by Saddam's Baath party. It's going to take a lot of work. We'll need a permanent force of Americans, British, and Australian peacekeepers there for a long time, together with some of our other true allies. France, Germany and Belgium should never be allowed on Iraq's soil. There are too many brave Americans, British and Australians, who have fought there and died there.
