Well...considering we gave weapons to the rebels in Afghanistan your point has even more merit. That said I hate to see it and I think its a bad decision on their part

Anti-tank weapons are defensive? lol

Jammers will end up doing more harm by exposing more civilians to errant bombs. Chalk them up to a long list of human shields.

The sales of banned weapons was going on during the UN inspection process and you believe that the inspection process is the way to go.

Here are 2 questions for you:

1) If the US picked up its' ball and went home, what would stop the Iraqi regime from continuing to build an arsenal of banned weapons?

2) What good is the UN and the UN sponsored inspection process if 2 of the permanent 5 have now been caught selling illegal weapons and components to Iraq?
