>I am looking forward to revenge.<

God help me, and I try to avoid the R word, but that is exactly how this makes me feel-in a lot of directions.

I am looking forward to revenge.

"An eye for an eye makes the world go blind". Let us not descend to their level, rather, let us help them to ascend to our levels.

I believe they're making strategic errors here ....

First, we won't be coddling their POWs going forward once our troops get word of this.

Also, waving a surrender flag, then attacking .... again, I'm not sure a surrender flag won't get you shot going forward.

Same for posing as civilians and attacking. Earlier today, I was watching film of GIs shaking hands with civilians welcoming them; I think that's over.

"Meet the Press" this morning fairly convincingly reported that it was an execution of prisoners.

One of Saddam's core beliefs--it may be shared by a lot of Arabs residing in the ME hotspots--is that the US cannot face the loss of its own soldiers, and that we will turn tail and run at the first sight of our blood. Hence, the glaring and lurid publicity given to these deaths.

What do they know?

I'm quite upset by the video, and will be doubly upset if the reports of executions are corroborated. But I don't think I'm going to be half as pissed-off as the US soldiers in Iraq will be. I hope they can keep their cool.

That's exactly what the Iraki chiefs wanted: scare the US people at home, get the Marines mad, as to scare their own troops from surrendering.

But don't worry, by the (short)time your guys will get to the outskirts of Bagdad, the Republican Guards will have run away from their pants, and many of their officers will also have holes in the head, unless they run real fast.

It has been reported that those responsible for the capture and execution of American soldiers early today were non-regular army.

Does anyone have a good definition of what non-regular army means?
