Someone once told me that we can't empathize over something we haven't directly experienced, and it's true!!! but we can have sympathy and compassion for one another.

Exactly Patricia.It is high time to stop little Kurd children and little Iraqi children from becoming orphans at the hands of Sadaam.How many could have been saved in the last 12 years of failed diplomacy? You shouldn't be so selfish and just think of American interests.Be tolerant and understanding of other cultures as well. >>Empathy is something we should all try to practice.
