A lot of people believe in astrology, too. I have no interest in trying to change their minds, either.

A policy based on trying to respond to polls taken in Muslim nations is, IMO, not only impossible but self-defeating.

What's amusing to me is the number of protestors in those "peace" marches who stop off at their local McDonald's for a burger on the way home from the march. And then go to watch themselves on CNN.

We are already winning the world over. They just don't know it yet.

Jacob, do you live your life based on what polls say ?

One would think not; one would hope you have the conviction of your own character. One would hope you stand on your principles.

Why should a nation be any different ?

Maybe the Middle East should be inundated with polls of what the West thinks of them ? Fair play ?

Personally, polls are like stats in sports ... they're for losers !

pay any attention to the polls, that is held by 95% of people in Muslim nations,

If one had lived amongst muslims in muslim/secular nations, one would know that muslim culture does not lend itself to expression of opinion to a stranger on the phone polling for opinion. One gets to know real opinion, by spending time in an informal situation such as dinner, snack etc.
