I get angry, Karen, reading some of the biased, brainless, bombbasting posts that are conjured up here and elsewhere on the sites that I saw as an opportunity for meaningful, intelligent debate. I thought, erroneously so, I guess ,that that meant respecting the other persons opinion. It also meant deferring from name calling, personal attacks and labeling others in undignified terms. After all we are all Americans. My ancestry here dates back post Civil War . I have had family fight in all wars. I have strong feelings about wars and find this one to be unjustified. If I am proven wrong and there are WMD found and it can be substantiated that what we did by violating the UN Constitution and moving forward without the support of our major allies, then I will feel differently. However, until that time I believe that I am entitled to my feelings and resent some of the unkind remarks about others who have posted intelligent, documented and seemingly honest sources for what they write. I let off steam in that last post. Sorry I almost upset myself.

Back to the subject at hand:
endthewar.org
unitedforpeace.org
Then of course, there is veterans against the Iraq War:
vaiw.org
Who better than veterans to oppose war? Of course this country has a long history of ignoring Veterans who are war protesters.
