Look at the debt problem, the prisoner problem, the homeless problem, the medical care crisis coming, the social security crisis coming, etc. etc. etc. -- the USA can't even keep its own house in order. Since Iraq has been ruled by a dictator, I don't imagine there is a quality and functioning government ready to step in and make order of everything after Saddam. The USA will be responsible. Not only a mess to try and do under the best of circumstances based on their primitive government, but with the entire Muslim world angry and jealous, the job will be next to impossible. Then you have several groups who are going to "claim" a partial ownership -- both inside and surrounding Iraq. The USA is going to find themselves in a Muslim sandwich looking like an off-color Oreo but with very little cream filling being squished and twisted and licked.

I remain,
