Then how does anyone get objective information about "the street" in Muslim nations? Without elections, and if you discount opinion polls, I guess you can just compare the number of pro-war and anti-war demonstrators, as a rough measure. So far, the ratio seems to be about 10 million to nil. If Muslims are not willing to express an opinion, then why don't they answer "no opinion" to these polls? Instead, they consistently express a very definite anti-war and anti-U.S. opinion.
