Any idea when this type of investment will be available in the US. Calandra said it would be in February, but that hasn't happened.

A small piece on CNBC stated that the Swiss are concerned about their strong currency (Frank) visa vie the US dollar. It was also intimated that they will be taking steps to lower the value of the Swissie.

Fundamental economic and monetary problems continue to mount. Competitive devaluation, debt, monetary inflation etc. continue their long term trend. However, it doesn't appear that anything will soon replace the $buck. Gold's adverse and unexpected reaction to recent events seems illogical.

The US will prevail over Iraq, business will then flourish, the dollar will soar, the markets will explode, oil will be pumped, and all will be well. The aforementioned problems will become a distant unimportant memory.

And peace and love will reign.
