The other scenario is like the Israeli invasion of Lebanon where people were happy to see the PLO go but got more and more resentful of the Israeli occupation, spawning Hizbuallah. I don't think we can know up front if this will be a Japan, a Lebanon, or Afghanistan (return to semi-feudal chaos in the periphery of the country)....

Oh you'll get to see'em pal That Iraqi smackin' down Saddam's picture looked pretty happy to me. He also appeared to really want his mug on camera. He did appear to be using his shoe so that would probably limit his dancing though ;o) Afgani before'em will be glad to be free of the reigning monsters. That's still a major problem pezz. Seems not much real progress has been made there beyond chasing out the Taliban. We just don't hear about it now since Bin Laden's gone. What really has been accomplished beyond that ? They're still battling Al Quaeda.
