PROLIFE,
well I'm in Austria - Vienna to be specific. When I got time (now) I tune in to CNN and CNBC to look at the coverage. I got myself a thorogh map of IRAQ from german tabloid FAZ (www.faz.net) and printed it out. Now I try to visualize the battlefield lines onto it. Great thing to watch..

It's great to see that a future without all those extremists like the HAMAS, The PFLP and all those useless acronmys can be near. A pro-western Irak can have tremendous advantages to all of us.

Pragmatically I think we can enjoy many positive fallout of a succesful IRAQ campaign in Europe. We will be more safe, there will be less migration out of the mideast region to Europe (because of autonomous prosperity there) and gas will get cheaper because of the demise of the OPEC. Not too bad.

Politically I'm quite a Libertarian alongside the lines of HAyek and others (Friedman etc.). And while Bush is not my top notch choice for US President I think he is a capable leader and doing a tremendously good job, especially after the Attacks of last September. The leftward tilt of many European news and media is something I am not comfortable with. This certainly motivates my interactions here and elsewhere.

And yes - let me add something: Tony Blair earns my greatest respect. He maintained the trans-atlantic tie despite undermining moves by the hard-left wing of his own party. And he let a rather sound economic policy of the preceding conservative government largely in place - especially sound if you compare the UK performance with the one of socialist led Germany or that of France.

all the best
