They simply don't understand what is at stake here.

Not to trivialize anyone's pain here. But the victims of the Shah probably said the same thing once. I have a brother and a mom and I don't want anything to happen to them.

The cycle of violence in Ireland lasted hundreds of years. They finally stopped it. The cycle of violence in Israel/Palistine has many years. They almost stopped it but not with violence. It's madness to think we can stop this cycle without at least looking at our own part in it.

Few of us truly understand Victor. Most of our society has been programmed with politically correct dogma that just might be our undoing.

Look at the BBC World News for instance. Today the copy on that Akbar fellow, the one who rolled those grenades into the US army tents in Kuwait, not a word was mentioned that he was a koranic cultist. The story merely mentioned that he had a bone to pick with the brass. Nothing also on his Kuwait helpers, translators as I recall.

We are at war with the koranic cultist whether we admit it or not. The geographical engineers think that they can baffle most of us with what we are already programmed with. Toss in a little reinforcement and we will do just fine. It might work for a while but this day in age the majority of people are much better informed.
