broadstbull, my comment was in response of various post on SI that actually made fun of people suffering / participating or affected by the war. There is a huge difference to have a intelligent discussion about the merits or mistakes of the political / command executives that decided to go to war and the merits of their judgment, which I find in place in any democracy, between the idiotic unbiased rhetoric that our and our allies armed forces are used to satisfy all kinds of desires of certain group of people, or just to use their action to justify various financial desires, or plain pocking fun at the military action unwinding now
