I can't disagree with that. If we lose Friday's gains, I may go long for a bounce. The charts are saying >9k, 1512 and 995. I still do not believe it. I will short the heck out a move in the Nasdaq at the January highs if it gets that far.

I move fairly nimbly. Last week I was definitely early but made it through unscathed, but with few profits. I am fully short a semi and long a small position in Gold. I typically cover on a morning dip or short a morning spike.

tomorrow I predict a dip.

this was a power move, there should be a buyable dip right in front of us. after that, it should be safe to short the snot out of it.

I am now having doubts about this rally. The power move you are referring to is based upon charts but my feeling is that something very significant has happened in this past weekend regarding the Iraqi situation.
Fear of anything like Viet Nam is going to be a concern unless the US starts getting much more positive information. For now fear of a tougher war is going to hurt the markets, imho...maybe for this whole week. At the very least, the market is going to start pricing in a somewhat longer war than was expected even on Friday.

That has to be very negative for the stock market...so I am looking to short any bounce. Dip buying only for a very short term trade is all I am going to do. Near term position trading is probably better on the short side after the rally we have seen. Going to see how the market reacts on Monday to get a better idea.
Going to keep an open going into the week..and watching bonds very carefully.
