I can honestly say that I was appalled at what I heard come from Trent Lott and that I never knew he was like that. I can also say that it was the best thing that could have ever happened to see him forced down from his leadership position. I now hope he is voted out the next time he has to run. Now, I must also say that I cannot believe that the demo-libs are so two faced and let Byrd carry on knowing that he is of the same ilk. But a double standard is what demo-libs live for I guess.
