Our choppers are now chopping up the Republican Guard near Baghdad .
IMO this means their air defenses have been obliterated , radars, anti-aircraft firepower, Sams, the whole works
rendered ineffective

I do.

And you will too, eventually.

But first, we are all going to see if ShockAndAwe works, to make the world safe. We are going to have to relearn, the hard way, some lessons we learned in Vietnam, then unlearned in Iraq1. And if we don't relearn the limits of Force in Iraq2, then we'll learn it in Korea or Iran or somewhere else. It's going to be a long war.
