Michael Moore has a point. Dont laugh. But it was inappropriate. Too much. He should have just said "peace" and talked about his film, which is about the crazed obsession with guns many macho wannabes in America have, guns which sometimes find themselves in the hands of kids who massacre each other at school.

A stunning film I hear. I haven't seen it yet but we both should. Moore is an American original. And not a liberal. Something else. He is known as a vocal advocate of the working class in American, against sending jobs overseas. That is his main issue.

But guns now too. Too many unstable idiots with arsenals in their homes. Like the wack who tried to kill Reagan for instance. Or the wacks who shot all those people in Maryland. Moore has a point. And most cops agree. The NRA doesn't help this country. They have cost a lot of lives. That said, I want to be able to own a gun if I want. And will gladly register. But owning assault weapons is ridiculous. The next Timothy McVeigh will use one to kill, kill, kill. Just because he had pimples in high school and didn't get laid.

So the Academy gives standing ovation for Roman Polansky, a man who fled the country to escape the judicial system but they refuse to sing God Bless America at a post-Awards party. hmmm. That pretty much sums up the 'fictitious' logic of Hollywood.
