rails, since you asked... Re: Anybody wonder where the Iraqi gold reserves are?

USA Steals Iraq’s Assets

"The Bush administration and its allies have added thievery to its growing list of criminal actions after three days of terrorist and murderous activities in Iraq have left hundreds of civilians injured and at least five dead. These are war crimes. Bush, Rumsfeld, Blair, Hoon and their administrations are terrorists, murderers and war criminals.

Washington has stolen 1,740,000,000 USD of Iraqi assets held in the United States of America in 18 banks, claiming that it will be sued [used?] for the reconstruction of Iraq after the removal of Saddam Hussein’s regime. In a further action of blatant arrogance, Washington asked the international community to close Iraqi embassies and to expel its diplomats, a move which was met with a humiliating and resounding No, almost without exception......... cont."
english.pravda.ru;

Probably not Iraq's gold reserves but it will go a long way to paying tomorrows US interest on the debt.

Regards

T.

For two hours this AM the Defense Dept issued statements that a UK aircraft was not shot down by a missile in/near Kuwait. Two hours later the DOD indicated that a UK aircraft was brought down by a US patriot missile. Which is true? That kind of un-truth is crap I have a serious problem with.

That's just breaking news, I think. If there was an intention to lie, they'd have stuck to the same story, instead of changing it. Changing it implies they learned and digested new info.

NOW, TONIGHT!

Seems a little unreasonable tome since there's a war going on.

I suppose I really would want to know just exactly what oil deal did Saddam renege on, before Bush Sr. was President (NG).

??
Don't know what you're getting at - some unproven hearsay, perhaps? Iraq nationalized its oil industry back in the '70's like most of the other countries in the region.

<If they want me to believe the site is a WMD location; then send in Blix and company to substantiate the facts for the U.N. NOW, TONIGHT>

Two points; 1. there is a war going on, it would be impractical at best to send in weapons inspectors.
2.The UN is even less credible than the US, why would you need their approval. Heck, France lied to Powell's face about resolution 1441.

Rails99, I think you need to wrap a few more layers of aluminum foil around your head. The CIA's paranoia-rays still seem to be penetrating.

I mostly agree with you Rails. I remember Viet Nma very well, watching it isolated form draft as a medical student, waiting my turn until after internship by which time service did ot want me. I remember like yesterday watching daily the disinformatsia perpetrated by whomever was in White House. We are following a script that is to my mind best explained by US oil interests by the families in power, Bush family, Cheney, Rice (Chevron) all having far too much invested in Saud Arabia to go after izzslum where it lives...Mecca, Medina, Saud Arabia.
The fact that Assan al Akbar was ALLOWED ot be over there and NOT shot immediately as a traitor plays right into the hands of persons like me who trust the shrub AND the dems about as far as I can throw that goddmamned rock in Mecca. The news on th elast few days as we are informed just how inadequate are the resources garnered to go with our boys and girls over there is MAJOR deja vu. Nobody here (except a few nuts like me) listens to Salman Rushdie, remembers the Crusades were LOST by the Christians, that "Palestine" belonged fisrt to thee JEWS...It is all crap. (I really don't care about the Crusades back then because I have no interest int the aims of the Catholic Church but admit that when mention of "Crusades" maddens rags then I am gonna yell the word/concept at top of my lungs.) I hate the rags to the marrow of my bones, their founder, their agenda, their treatment of non-believers, ie sane people for starters, their cultures, their apologists and their very existence in th 21st century. Alas I must await another more terrible thing than 9/11 for any chance of Joe6Pack aking up. What the f*ck is proven about link of al Qaeda and saddam the little stalinist camel boy?
The shrub and his team are proving to me both Lyndom Johnson and Richard Nixon and the secrets/ops/agendas of the 60's &70's are alive and well in Washington DC...and nobody mentions that 4000 American blacks came back form Guld War I and converted to izzslum!!!!!!!!! We had best reinterpret the First Amendment or lose our nation, what is left of it. Joe6Pack ain't got a f*cking clue!
