Message 18742997 I agree with Claude. It was well worth listening to. In particular, I liked Heinberg's insight into the geopolitical calculus that Bush/Cheney are applying to the Iraq oil basins. A strategic concern that is seemingly much more important to the politically obsessed than to the oil majors who Heinberg states would be content to simply buy the oil in the marketplace rather than confiscate it as the spoils of an unnecessary and messy war.
