Americans fret about the threat to their 'values' and wonder why they are so widely disliked.

Just that part is humorous; I've yet to find one American who "frets" about what the socialists in Europe think of us nor the radical Islamicists, either.

I guess if we lived our lives and governed our nation by polls, we would "fret".

Of course, then we'd just be French !

There is a working a group 300000 Americans and not one in the entire lot gives a tinkers damn about politics
or of terrifying a few Iraqis. Rotton to the core I guess, as any writer would judge them to be if they dont pay attention his own brilliant words and voice
