Technology plus computer useage and the internet will make big strides during this war.
The embedded reporters would probably be using GB hard drives to store images, the Central command is using the Web and E-mail, all combat units have computers.
When the war shortly high speed computers will be needed to integrate and improve visual scenes and build "stories" from all the video footage and recorded data. Make movies.
All countries will observe what other reporters are using for communications and will want the same or better for whatever next happens next.
Dell can continue to reduce the cost per capability of computers while wages for users will be increasing
even if slowly
With Csco paying >$100/hr for contract workers, the cost of a faster or more capable computer becomes less than a days wages while producing much more output per year.
Dell seems to be the only computer company able to reduce the cost of computing and still make money and grow while doing that.
In general successful companies ( there are still some left) will be forced to upgrade soon.
Its a good overall picture but still hard to tell how the public will regard the stock price next week or month.
