FREEDOM was not obtained with words alone....sometimes it is produtive to walk (and speak) softly, other times - that Big Stick comes in handy...

When someone has an incentive to use that stick, more times
than not he will chose to use it. He will try to give
reasons as to why the stick was necessary instead of
finding more difficult creative peaceful solutions.

That same person often does not put much thought as to who
might be watching. And those watching will be willing to
look for their own sticks. Before you know it everyone is
waving their sticks around.

When this happens you begin to wonder if stick waving is
better than collectively putting together your minds and
finding creative solutions together.

It relates to the saying, those who's only tool is a
hammer, tends to see all their problems as nails.

Clinton did more than wave his dick around.
He at least made the rest of the world feel as if they
mattered.

After all only a fool believes that the world revolves
around US. The world must maintain some sense of balance.
It will always seek some form of equilibrium.
When there is imbalance, things will naturally be done to
provide balance.

You can't fight nature. Live in harmony with it or be
corrected.

"I simply do not understand your point about Abortion vs. War with Iraq."

If you can't see the point in showing that America kills over 1 million INNOCENT lives each year, while spending BILLIONS of dollars to fight a war in order that we don't have a few thousand POTENTIALLY killed in the future, then I can't help you. Do I think Saddam should be taken out? Yes. Do I think it could be done easier? Yes. Do I think it hypocritical to ask for God to bless America in war while slaughtering 1 million babies each year? Yes. Do I think we address problems in the order of how they will affect us economically as the first priority? Yes.

I'm not blindly taking a liberal point of view and simply yelling against war. But neither am I blindly looking past true motives and ignored solutions just to be "patriotic."

America used to have such wealth that if the priorities were in the correct order, she could have corrected much of the world's problems. Unfortunately, not only are her priorities screwed up (by liberals and now even many conservatives), but her wealth is all borrowed from the top to the bottom. I can't but help wonder if we are seeing the beginning of the end of the greatest nation on earth. It is sad.

I remain,
