Showing the American public the terrible reality of this (or any) war is the right thing to do. Pussy-footing around to "spare the families" is bs. We who didn't want this war wanted to spare families of this horror by keeping these kids from fighting in this war. It is too late now to spare anyone, families, the American public. People need to know, and in knowing will demand an end to this. Then fewer families will need to be spared from the pain of seeing their loved ones executed. Unless you want to allow this to continue by pretending it's not happening.
