It will indeed be tough going without Turkey, but that's the way it will have to be if the Turks get grabby in Northern Iraq.

It became painfully apparent weeks ago that there was no way to accommodate both the Turks and the Kurds, and the Kurds have the advantage of actually living there, millions of them. It would be folly to alienate them.

Kurdish Media reporting that KDP and PUK (major Kurdish political parties) have agreed to a "limited" number of Turkish troops in Northern Iraq (they call it Southern Kurdistan) but are too embarrassed to admit it.
