No argument there ..

A 1/3 retracement of the move in the Dow
from 7415 to 8522 would project to 8099 ..
In general, I've found that the Lucas/Fibonacci
retracements tend to work best following a sharp
short term move such as what we've just had ..

War is never pretty. CNN wars, over in hours or days have become the concept that people have come to accept. young folks in the US have neveer seen anything else.
The fact that the Iraqi's are not surrendering in droves, or the Iraqi army is offering stiffer resistance is spoiling Bush's tidy image of the "excursion. Maybe we are actually invading another country.
re the market: eith ther psycohology changes or it doesn't. a tidy conclusion to the war would help, a dragged out bloodier conflict would not. but it is the ECONOMY stupid, the US economy, and whether it can start growing or not. larry
