they can't come out and state that publicly -- you know that. Literate folks understand what is going on there. For those who aren't does it matter -- even those moaning and whining about it in Europe understand the real reasons for the war ... I'm not sure it is going to be easy sailing -- the press keeps saying -- "what comes after" will be the challenge. The contrary part of me has this nagging feeling that there isn't going to be a "bright line" for the transition from war to occupation and that what comes NOW is the problem. George, Sr. had a number of good reasons for holding off -- we are about to find out about those. Was there a war premium in oil that is coming out now -- or is there a war discount -- this will have a huge impact on the stock market near term. Longer term, there is no BULL case ...
