It's a question of PROFITS. US oil giants can now go into Iraq and "develop" the oil resources there. Not to mention also the big fat contracts Halliburton, Bechtel etc. will get to rebuild the infrastructure. Iraqs oil will be used to fund it, not US taxpayers dollars. All on the backs of the Iraqi people. Same old story over and over again. Plunder and pillage all for geopolitical interests. As for democracy coming to Iraq? Talk to some Iraqi people, find out about that fiction.

WHY SHOULD WE FROM THE INTERATIONAL COMMUNITY, GIVEN THE HISTORY OF YOUR COUNTRY'S BEHAVIOR TRUST THE MOTIVES OF SOME NUTCASE LIKE DUBUYA?
