It's so nice to be missed. Generally, I didn't have anything interesting to post, so I was happy just to watch and read.

I don't think today's retrace ends this little bull rally, btw (CNBC are such idiots, I'd say they're like old ladies in a retirement home, but that would be an insult--to old ladies in retirement homes).

I'm using the time to study and analyze option positions on the various names we know and love. Volatility here helps you to 1) get your price on your option, 2) limit losses (high vol equals high premiums, and 3) get the move you want within a reasonable timeframe. I see these 3 as the real bugaboos when using options rather than equities: you can't get your price, premiums are too low and the stock doesn't move.

If NVR at $350 was a slam dunk short, maybe it is worth considering now @ 48x?
