a bit of a nod to the rio treaty. but what does that have to do with the question: "did we obstruct the objectives of the brits? the answer is obvious. and your attempt at deflection doesn't change the fact that the answer was "NO" and therefore not comparable to your implied analogy of our attitude toward the brits during the falklands war and the efforts of the french to undercut the the efforts of the u.s. to enforce 1441. a qualitative difference, but believe as you will.
