i am quite thankful we live in a republic that maintains civilian control over our military.

and to say one must fight in a war to establish ones right to speak out either for or against only reflect on your lack of understanding of the democratic political process.

That is interesting. I am an ex bubble head out of Norfolk and am familiar with the Gator Freighter named Inchon. She never served in Vietnam if my memory is correct. In fact I believe her first cruise was an around the world adventure in 1972 which is too late for service in Vietnam.

My memory could be faulty though I suppose.
