Vietnam was like this too, started with the best of intentions. I think this is a 180 from vietnam. This is not colonialism at all, imo it is the opposite. Perhaps thats where the true potential danger lies as well a la vietnam. mike

Colonization is not about profits, it's about power. Yes, the two are connected. But just because we don't turn a profit, doesn't mean it wasn't a colony. Every venture is not successful.

Would you like to try defining "soon enough"? If the goals explicitly stated by the President, and several of his top advisors, and the AEI, are a guide, it will take decades to achieve those goals. Maybe they don't mean what they say. But maybe they do.
